Privacy Policy for Wadd

1. Overview

Wadd is an offline-first task management and life goals tracking application created by Lunoit Labs. We value your privacy. Wadd is built with a local-first philosophy: all tasks, milestones, and personal notes remain stored directly on your personal device unless you explicitly opt to enable Google Drive Cloud Sync.

2. Google User Data (Cloud Backup & Sync)

When you choose to sign in with Google to enable cloud backup and multi-device synchronization, Wadd requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

• openid, email, profile: Used solely to display your active account profile in the Settings view and identify your session.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata: Allows Wadd to read and write your encrypted task backups to a private, hidden application folder (appDataFolder) inside your personal Google Drive storage. Wadd cannot access, read, or modify your personal files, photos, or documents stored elsewhere in Google Drive.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file: Restricts file modifications strictly to files created by Wadd itself.

Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance:
Wadd's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How We Protect Your Data

• No External Server Storage: Wadd does not store your tasks, goals, or Google credentials on proprietary servers. All synchronized data travels directly between your client device and Google Drive.
• No Data Selling or Advertising: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or share your personal data or Google account information with third parties, brokers, or advertising networks.
• No Training of AI Models on User Data: User data and reflection journal entries are never used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

You retain full ownership and control over your data at all times:

• Local Data: Uninstalling the application or deleting the local database permanently erases local data from your device.
• Cloud Backup Deletion: You can delete all synchronized cloud backups directly from your Google Drive by navigating to Google Drive Settings > Manage Apps > Wadd > Delete hidden app data.
• Revoking Access: You can revoke Wadd's access to your Google Account at any time via Google Account Permissions.
